The stone is called sard stone. Rare color in agates and treasured by the Greeks. Solid rose gold hard stone cameo ring. Filigree crown mounting with accents.

This cameo is extremely old.
It was obviously remounted sometimes in the late 1800s too early 1920s.
Just like we remount old stones today in a brand new jewelry,
jewelers have done that for centuries..

DEPICTS FINE INTAGLIO OF YOUNG GREEK OR ROMAN WARRIOR.
The total height off of the finger measures only 3.5 mm.

The carnelian alone measures 10.8 millimeters by 9.5 millimeters.
